We need some heroes
I've been contemplating lately what our church needs. Initially, I came up with quite a list -- we could use a new building (and the resources with which to build it!), we could use more workers, we could use creative thinkers, a heart for the lost, a passion for worship, and on and on my list goes.........
But really, other than God, we only need one thing: we need heroes! God has always accomplished His purposes through human beings -- not "super heroes", but mortal people surrendered to His will.
Sunday morning, I challenge you to come and find out how YOU can be a hero! We will also be kicking off our summer theme, "No Relationship is Too Broken". This spring we saw first-hand that no person is beyond forgiveness; I get goose bumps thinking about the relationships that God is going to restore this summer!
