Sunday in the Park

I would like to invite you all to join us out at City Park this Sunday for a beautiful day of activities.  We will not be holding any part of our normal Sunday activities at the church this week.  Coffee Time at 9:00, Sunday School at 9:30, and Worship at 10:30 will all be held at the park, and then our Labor Day Picnic will be at 12:30.   The forecast for Sunday predicts that we will have perfect weather!  I encourage you to come, bring a lawn chair, and be ready to praise God in the great out-of-doors!  Also, it would be great if you could bring a covered dish to the picnic, as well as a side dish or dessert.  The church will provide drinks and table service.  Finally, if you wish to bring some activities with you such as horseshoes, Frisbees, balls and bats, etc, we'll have a great time of fellowship in the afternoon.   By the way, we will also be introducing a brand new Sunday School class this week!  We now have a Young Teen class for 7th and 8th graders, with Pastor Donna Toomer teaching.   I look forward to seeing you Sunday in the Park!
