Good afternoon!
I am so looking forward to this weekend, when we will have our Christmas celebration at First Assembly and in our community!
First, the Phillips County Ministerial Alliance and First National Bank and Trust will be presenting the Community Christmas Cantata at the Huck Boyd Center. This year’s cantata is “Rise Up — A New Light A-Comin’”, with performances at 7:30 Saturday night and 3:00 Sunday afternoon. Admission is free, and an offering will be taken for the PCMA. A number of people from our church are in the cantata, and it’s always a beautiful time. There will be NO EVENING ACTIVITY at First Assembly this Sunday, due to the cantata.
Sunday morning will be our Christmas service at 10:30, with several people from our church ministering in music. Also, I will be speaking on “Secret to a Merry Christmas”. I encourage you to come and bring your friends!
