The Toucans

WOW! We had 9 Rainbows in class on Wednesday night! What a rowdy bunch! It was great to get back after Christmas break. And now it is time to start a new unit: THE TOUCANS! The toucans stand for being Specially Made. Wednesday night we had a great time singing. Then we made a toucan beak to wear, all of the kids added such great color to their beaks! They each made their beak SPECIAL in their own way! Even the kid who only wanted black on his beak! They had a great time running around with them on! They also were very attentive as we talked about being special. And how every single child there was special in their own way! Next week, we will continue to talk about toucans and being SPECIAL!
