Prince of Peace
When the angels announced to the shepherds the birth of the Savior, they proclaimed, "Peace on earth, good will toward men." Well, it's been 2000 years, and it seems we have yet to see this promised peace. The world is in turmoil, families are disintegrating, and people are having nervous breakdowns.
Peace?
Sunday morning, I will be presenting the solution to the problems all around us. (That's right -- I can boldly proclaim that I know the answer!!!) I will be speaking on the Subject of Christmas Himself -- Jesus Christ, the
Prince of Peace. Do you want YOUR family to "sleep in heavenly peace" at night? I encourage you and challenge you to come Sunday morning!
Then, from 6:30 to 8:30 Sunday night, we will be presenting
"The Living Gospel" in the church parking lot. Several of you are involved in this ministry, and you need be at the church NO LATER than 5:30 Sunday evening, please. If you are in any of the scenes, I caution you to dress warmly!
For those who come to see the scenes, you may either drive by, or you may park your vehicle and walk through the lighted scenes for a greater effect.
It's going to a great evening of presenting the gospel message to our community!
