Armour of God
We're studying the armour of God and we made little "balloon men" and taped pieces of the armour to balloons. Ephesians 6:11-18 was our scripture reference. Following our activity we discussed what the armour represents in our spiritual walk with Jesus. Wish I'd taken pictures.0

Citizenship lesson for Stars Club
Learning about the search for freedom of religion and worship by the Founding Fathers is the study the Stars Club is currently doing. This week the girls made bracelets using small red, blue and clear beads along with stars and flags to create a very attractive charm bracelet. Sponsor Kayla Wilson led the craft.

Stars celebrate "Race of a Lifetime" Nationwide Sleepover
Stars MPact group celebrated the Nationwide Sleepover by what else? Sleeping over, of course! Heartland Worship Center Stars, Agra KS, invited Phillipsburg Stars to join them as they participated with girls all over the nation in the "Race of a Lifetime." Girls third through fifth grade played games, ran relays, made crafts and were challenged by Heartland Stars Sponsor, Janie Ragsdale, to run the race of life strong to the finish. A surprise visit by Ranger Bob who built a fire outside the fellowship hall provided time to enjoy weiners and marshmallows roasted over an open fire.
