Rodeo Sunday!
Good afternoon, friends and family!! It's good to be back home, and I am looking forward to worshiping with our church family this Sunday! Our son Jeremy summed it up well last Sunday when he said "I liked going to Aunt Joy's church, but I missed our church. I want to go to our church next Sunday!" I do want to encourage you to join us in an air-conditioned church this Sunday morning, for
Rodeo Sunday! Paul Scholtz, a rodeo chaplain with the Assemblies of God will be our featured speaker. Paul was with us last year, and we had such a great time, that I asked him to come back this year.
Here's the deal: We need everyone to dress
"Rodeo Style" Sunday morning! Jim Smith says that this is the one weekend of the year when everyone in Phillipsburg thinks he's a cowboy and has to dress accordingly! So come in your western clothes, and get ready for great time! (Nita will be giving prizes away to all the kids dressed up in their western gear!) Can't wait to see you all again!
